September is blood cancer awareness month, and in support of the cause, OSS Health is participating in the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s Light the Night Walk on Friday, September 29, 2017 at John Wright Restaurant in Wrightsville, PA. All funds raised at the Light the Night Walk are used to find the cure for blood cancer.
Today, nearly 1.3 million people in the United States are living with, or are in remission from, leukemia, lymphoma or myeloma. There is no way to prevent or screen for most blood cancers so LLS is focused on finding cures!
This is the fifth year that OSS Health has participated in the walk. Please join us this year in this celebration of light to drive out the darkness of cancer. All walkers will get lanterns at the walk. All walkers on the OSS Health team will also get OSS t-shirts to wear at the walk.
