Spinal Back & Neck Pain Treatment
Millions of Americans experience back and neck pain, which can limit a person’s ability to work and do the things that they enjoy in life.
Back and neck pain can be caused by an injury or by degeneration in the spine. Getting the right diagnosis in these cases makes a difference in the treatment plan as well as the quality of recovery. In all of these instances, patients seek out physicians at OSS for help in resolving their pain.
Our fellowship-trained spine surgeons along with interventional pain physicians work with physical therapists to address all types of back and neck pain. Pairing on-site imaging including MRI, CT scans, ultrasound and nerve conduction testing with diagnostic expertise, we design the most appropriate and effective treatment plan available while educating patients in self-care as well.
Non-surgical Treatment Options for your Spine Problems
Our board-certified physical medicine and rehabilitation specialists, as well as on-site physical and occupational therapists, address each patient’s needs with a wide array of non-surgical options including injection therapies at our two pain centers, physical therapy and bracing.
Expertise in Spine Surgery
When surgery is the best course of treatment, our board-certified, fellowship-trained orthopaedic surgeons with decades of experience perform spinal procedures in the fully accredited OSS Orthopaedic Hospital, a nationally recognized center of orthopaedic surgery. We also perform surgeries at York Hospital, Memorial Hospital, and Holy Spirit Hospital. Some spine surgeries can be done on an outpatient basis, and some require an overnight stay. Our spine surgeons are trained to perform minimally invasive spine surgery when appropriate to reduce risks, recovery time and complications. If you are suffering from pain, numbness, or weakness coming from the neck down to the lower back, consult a spine physician at OSS Health.
