Dr. Brian Bixler
Brian Bixler, MD is a board-certified orthopaedic surgeon with specialized training in sports medicine and pediatric orthopaedics. Dr. Bixler specializes in the care of the injured athlete and the pediatric patient. He sees patients age 21 and younger. He is the team physician for many high schools in the area as well as colleges. Dr. Bixler is frequently found on the sidelines of local high school and college-level sporting events in the event of an injury. His goal is to get the injured athlete back in the game.

Doctor Bixler was very accommodating as was his staff, Dr Dukotus , Dr Furman and Andrea. Andrea really kept me calm and somehow knew when I was getting edgy. How she was directing me to take deep breaths and relax my muscles to meld into the OR table I was on helped me tremendously. I praise her efforts. Great medical team! Rosie who was my nurse in the prep area was just amazing. She treated me with respect and like a friend. She was so easy to connect with. I felt a kindred spirit in her. Always smiling and very attentive to all my needs.

Brian was very effective. While Urgent Care has its own system of getting people in and getting them out, Brian took the time I needed to answer and address all of my concerns. When I shared my experience with my family, I’d found out that my family also highly recommends Dr. Bixler. Thank you, Brian, for making my first ever OSS visit a pleasant one.
