We are here to make sure that your experience with OSS Health is a good one. If you or your responsible person has concerns about your experience either during an office visit, pain procedure, same day surgery or hospital stay, we want to hear about it. It is important to us that we hear your story.

Patient & Family Advisory Council

At OSS Health, our Patient & Family Advisory Council (PFAC) partners with us to improve healthcare.

What is a PFAC member?

A volunteer who partners with OSS Health to improve care, services and the patient experience.

Time Commitment

This is a volunteer position. The PFAC meets monthly with OSS Health Patient and Family Advisors and staff. Depending on your level of involvement, this is a 2-3 hour commitment each month. Advisory council meetings are typically held at the same day of the week and time each month.

What are we looking for in a Patient and Family Advisory Council Member?

  • Patients or family members who receive care at OSS Health
  • Someone who is interested in sharing their experiences to improve care for everyone
  • Someone who has a positive approach and the ability to share and see different points of view
  • Someone who respects differing views and can work well with others
  • Someone who listens well and can communicate in a group
  • All members must sign a confidentiality agreement

Wade Andrews
Dr. Andrews and his team are great. He did surgery on my right hand and it's healing really good. I have my left hand scheduled for surgery now and I am completely comfortable and confident in Dr. Andrews and his team. They are all very friendly and willing to help in any way they can. Abbie Kelley
I was informed late in the day that I needed to seek orthopedic treatment. I went for a walk in appointment and was pleasantly greeted as staff took my temperature and followed COVID prevention procedures. Wait and check in time was minimal. Laura at the check in desk was friendly and helpful. Angela and Dr. Kelley were informative throughout my treatment. They asked me questions about my pain level and went over treatment goals and options. Dr. Kelley showed me my x-ray images to help me understand my injury. They had me in and out on my way to healing without feeling rushed. Dr. Kelley offered to write a note to my employer to help them understand limitations I will have. Thank you to the staff for all their assistance in making a stressful situation a little less stressful.
