Female Athlete Clinic
With the continued rise in the number of female athletes competing at all levels of play, OSS Health has worked to build a team of providers who have special interest and training in working with and treating the female athlete.
Abbie Kelley, DO
Dr. Abbie Kelley, our primary care sports medicine physician, recently launched the Female Athlete Clinic where she spends the necessary time evaluating and treating the female athlete as a whole. As a former college athlete herself, she believes in the power of sport. Staying active is so important at any age, and there are different needs for athletes competing at different levels. Female athletes require special attention, as they are more susceptible to certain injuries and conditions. Our goal is to optimize performance through prevention and management of these conditions specific to female athletes. Dr. Kelley takes a comprehensive team approach to address medical, orthopedic, psychological and nutritional needs of the female athlete. Together, let us strive to minimize injury, maximize potential and continue to empower women in sport!
