Meet Dr. Michael Davis
Dr. Davis' Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R) and pain management stems from his experiences as a two-sport collegiate athlete, enthusiasm for the musculoskeletal system, and comprehensive clinical experience during my residency training at UCLA Health and the VA Greater Los Angeles Healthcare System.
Dr. Davis chose the field of medicine because he was passionate about becoming the bridge between patients’ current health and their functional goals. He chose PM&R because he wanted to pursue a field that unites anatomy, physiology, and technology to sincerely impact patients' quality of life. Dr. Davis is currently participating in an advanced care interventional spine and sports medicine fellowship program at OSS Health to become a well-rounded physician who is capable and confident in facing the challenges of a career in PM&R and pain management, while incorporating compassion for others into the treatment of patients. I aim to continue to utilize my intellectual curiosity and resilience to competently address patients’ needs. Dr. Davis has a special interest in sports medicine, peripheral joint pain, low back pain, neck pain, ultrasound, and fluoroscopy guided injections
In his leisure time, Dr. Davis enjoys running, weightlifting, watching sports, traveling, and spending quality time with family.
