Meet Dr. Brian Bixler
I received my medical degree from Pennsylvania State University College of Medicine and completed my residency training at Hershey Medical Center. In addition to my medical education, I completed fellowship training in pediatric orthopaedics and sports medicine at the Scottish Rite Children’s Medical Center in Atlanta, Georgia.
I have been practicing orthopaedics since 1999, with a focus of my practice primarily on sports medicine and pediatric orthopaedics. I am often seen on the sidelines working with athletes to keep them safe and healthy on the field. More recently, I have shifted my practice to focus on general orthopaedics in the urgent care at our Powder Mill location, where I can care for patients of all ages.
In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family, practicing a healthy lifestyle through diet and exercise and watching sports.
