Dr. Brian Bixler
Brian Bixler, MD is a board-certified orthopaedic surgeon with specialized training in sports medicine and pediatric orthopaedics. Dr. Bixler specializes in the care of the injured athlete and the pediatric patient. He sees patients age 21 and younger. He is the team physician for many high schools in the area as well as colleges. Dr. Bixler is frequently found on the sidelines of local high school and college-level sporting events in the event of an injury. His goal is to get the injured athlete back in the game.

I had slipped in wet kitchen floor a week previous to my accident. The day after my fall I was brought to OSS emergency hospital by my housemate and recent hip replacement patient of OSS. She insisted as they offer quick emergency service over local hospital ER. She was right. I was processed very quickly and seen Dr Bixler as soon as I hit the exam room. He had my X ray of knee,went over it in detail of what happened and gave me the good news that I didn't break my knee replacement and just injured tendons and ligaments. Told to stay off it a few days,ice and heat and I would be fine. A week later I barely know it happened. BTW,he is a funny guy,joking to ease my anxiety.
