Dr. Brian Bixler
Brian Bixler, MD is a board-certified orthopaedic surgeon with specialized training in sports medicine and pediatric orthopaedics. Dr. Bixler specializes in the care of the injured athlete and the pediatric patient. He sees patients age 21 and younger. He is the team physician for many high schools in the area as well as colleges. Dr. Bixler is frequently found on the sidelines of local high school and college-level sporting events in the event of an injury. His goal is to get the injured athlete back in the game.

Great bedside manor. Prompt. Thorough explanations, easy to understand. I had just come from work and was in scrubs, he treated me and spoke to me as his patient despite my work clothes indicating I also worked in healthcare. Often times healthcare professionals find that when seeking treatment for themselves they are treated differently w/ minimal explanations due to the provider assuming they know what they are talking about. While often healthcare professionals do, there are so many different specialties that sometimes the healthcare provider as a patient may not have a deep understanding of their current medical condition. 10/10 recommend Dr. Bixler.
