Dr. Brian Bixler
Brian Bixler, MD is a board-certified orthopaedic surgeon with specialized training in sports medicine and pediatric orthopaedics. Dr. Bixler specializes in the care of the injured athlete and the pediatric patient. He sees patients age 21 and younger. He is the team physician for many high schools in the area as well as colleges. Dr. Bixler is frequently found on the sidelines of local high school and college-level sporting events in the event of an injury. His goal is to get the injured athlete back in the game.

Dr. Bixler was prompt and professional. He didn't keep me waiting very long after I finished giving my initial responses to the assistant's questions. He showed me the x-rays and explained what is causing the pain. He prescribed treating it with pills rather than an injection explaining that injections are the next step if the pills don't help.

I was seen promptly when I arrived. He came into the room shortly after my vitals were taken. He listened to everything that I had to say, sent me for an X-ray, and determined that I have arthritis in my left knee. I was prescribed an anti-inflammatory medication. To be sure that there were no additional issues with my knee and lower leg, he has referred me to Dr. Scott King, as this is one of his specialties. I was extremely pleased with my visit.
