Dr. Brian Bixler
Brian Bixler, MD is a board-certified orthopaedic surgeon with specialized training in sports medicine and pediatric orthopaedics. Dr. Bixler specializes in the care of the injured athlete and the pediatric patient. He sees patients age 21 and younger. He is the team physician for many high schools in the area as well as colleges. Dr. Bixler is frequently found on the sidelines of local high school and college-level sporting events in the event of an injury. His goal is to get the injured athlete back in the game.

Dr. Bixler is a terrific physician. I have seen him relative to my daughter's sports injury in the past and recently with an injury that I experienced.He is very communicative and offers just the right amount of information, in an understandable manner. He has a wonderful personality.I was very pleased in the past with the services he provided and recently as well.

My 5 year old daughter fell and had a bruised foot. Dr. Bixler tended to her with the utmost sensitivity. Most doctors would just be textbook professional meaning direct and acting like a robot instead of a human being. Showing her the xray was unexpected and was something that engaged her during what could have otherwise been a frightening experience. We were in and out in less than an hour. The entire OSS staff were very considerate and helpful.
