Dr. Amit Patel
Amit R. Patel, MD is board-certified by both the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery and the American Board of Spine Surgeons. Dr. Patel treats general orthopaedic issues including joint replacement and extremity trauma, but he has special expertise and fellowship training in the surgical and non-surgical treatment of the spine. His primary interests are treating complex spinal deformity, degenerative spinal conditions, back and neck pain, and pediatric and adult spinal trauma. Dr. Patel performs minimally invasive spine surgeries as well as surgical second opinions.
Dr. Patel’s goal is to get patients back to doing the activities they enjoy. In his leisure time, Dr. Patel enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, sports and the outdoors.

After many years of back and leg problems, my pain is gone. Dr Patel performed disk replacement surgery during the summer of 2015. Within 6 weeks I was able to swing the golf clubs again without pain. He and his staff answered all my concerns before and after surgery in a friendly and timely manner. Do I recommend Dr Patel to help solve your back problems, YOU BET.

Dr. Patel was able to diagnose and fix an on going neck and shoulder problem that I have had for close to two years. I've seen many doctors for this problem recommending many different procedures and Dr. Patel was able to rule them out and fix my neck which fixed my shoulder, arm and hand. Days after the surgery the pain was totally gone, the burning gone and the numbess and tingling gone. This Dr is simply amazing. The staff was wonderful and friendly. I would recommend him to everyone
