Dr. Amit Patel
Amit R. Patel, MD is board-certified by both the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery and the American Board of Spine Surgeons. Dr. Patel treats general orthopaedic issues including joint replacement and extremity trauma, but he has special expertise and fellowship training in the surgical and non-surgical treatment of the spine. His primary interests are treating complex spinal deformity, degenerative spinal conditions, back and neck pain, and pediatric and adult spinal trauma. Dr. Patel performs minimally invasive spine surgeries as well as surgical second opinions.
Dr. Patel’s goal is to get patients back to doing the activities they enjoy. In his leisure time, Dr. Patel enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, sports and the outdoors.

Writing this makes me want to cry as I remember just by a miracle being treated by Dr. Amit Patel in the Urgent Care well over a decade ago. That was the ONE place in my chart marked that I was a domestic violence victim. Dr. Patel went on to do everything in a surgical way to eliminate my pain and in the most compassionate way to diarize such excruciating pain I block out the memories at times. I needed 3 discs replaced in my neck replaced from a decade of strangulations I WAS FORCED TO FORGET! BY family court and another organization. Years later he could have forced or urged me to do a fusion but didn't. I've known others with different doctors after neck surgery. My recovery was full fast and without pain meds after 3 days of OTC meds. Even the neck brace Dr. Patel used was superior and made all the difference. Dr. Amit Patel and his team- he gave me my life!

Dr. Patel and his staff are amazing. From day one information was shared, and explained as needed. All pre-surgery options were provided, explained and the best course for me was decided. Surgery was exactly as described and preformed. Thank you.
