Dr. George Margetas
George P. Margetas, DO is a native of York and enjoys working in the community where he was raised. Dr. Margetas treats all general orthopaedic problems with special interest and training in joint replacements of the hip and knee. Dr. Margetas uses the most advanced technologies and minimally invasive approaches to return his patients back to the activities they enjoy. He places great importance on spending time with his patients to help them understand their orthopaedic condition as well as the treatment options.
Dr. Margetas also treats many general orthopaedic conditions, including minor trauma, sports injuries and upper extremity issues. In his leisure time, he enjoys spending time with his family and friends. His interests are travel, exercise, sports and hunting.

I have been Dr. Margetas’s patient for 5 years. He has always taken the time to discuss my conditions and what my options are. He never rushes our conversations. If I ask about a different type of surgery he tells me if he won’t preform it and will tell me about a dr. that will.
