Dr. George Margetas
George P. Margetas, DO is a native of York and enjoys working in the community where he was raised. Dr. Margetas treats all general orthopaedic problems with special interest and training in joint replacements of the hip and knee. Dr. Margetas uses the most advanced technologies and minimally invasive approaches to return his patients back to the activities they enjoy. He places great importance on spending time with his patients to help them understand their orthopaedic condition as well as the treatment options.
Dr. Margetas also treats many general orthopaedic conditions, including minor trauma, sports injuries and upper extremity issues. In his leisure time, he enjoys spending time with his family and friends. His interests are travel, exercise, sports and hunting.

Dr. Margetas was professional, friendly, knowledgeable and really took time to listen to my questions and concerns. He explained my hip replacement surgery in layman's terms and walked me though every step of the process. I would highly recommend him! He gave me my active lifestyle back and I am very grateful!

Excellent experience! Would highly recommend seeing Dr. Margetas ! He listen to the issue and diagnosis with an explanation I can understand. My wife is an RN with surgical/ER back ground which she sis not have to explain it to me the issues. Go to him if need care! Also, it was a Sunday and I saw an actual orthopedic doctor not a non-physician provider! How do you put a price on that!
