Dr. Sania Mahmood
Dr. Mahmood went to University of Maryland, College Park for her undergraduate degree, and medical school at Drexel University in Philadelphia. She completed a year of general surgery at Temple University Hospital in Philadelphia before completing her residency in Orthopaedic Surgery at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation in Cleveland, Ohio. Dr. Mahmood finished her last year of training in Joint Arthroplasty at Emory University.

It has been 1 year almost to the day since Dr Mahmood replaced my hip. She rates more than 5 stars in my world! She takes the time to answer every question you have and doesn’t hurry out at the end of an appointment. Both she and her team are always available by portal or phone and respond promptly. Dr Mahmood came in to pre-op to see me before surgery then to my room soon after surgery. She was present at every appointment… never sent an assistant in her place. It’s as if she always has an eye out for her patients. Dr. Mahmood you are tops in my world and I highly recommend you as an orthopedic surgeon! I had no trouble recovering and adjusting to my new hip. I am now able to return to my very active lifestyle. If you choose Dr. Mahmood to perform your surgery you will be blessed! My last visit with Dr Mahmood was wonderful. Very visit is like a motivational speech. I feel like I can’t do the therapy at times. But Dr Mahmood and the staff at OSS gives you the words of encouragement and makes you want to take the extra step to push yourself further. I appreciate her and everything she has done for me.
