My surgeon had left OSS so my care was transferred to Dr. Mahmood. I’ve had a lot of issues since having my hip replacement surgery. My surgeon just kept telling me I needed to give a time and would not listen to me. I had the other hip replaced 3 years ago so I knew what to expect and knew that something didn’t feel right. I saw Dr. Mahmood for the first time and told her what issues I was experiencing. She listened and was able to give me a diagnosis on the spot with a clear treatment plan and I’m finally on my way to being pain free almost a year after my surgery. I’m so glad that she listened, didn’t brush me off and empathized with me. For a while, I thought I was crazy, but she reassured me that I was valid and there was hope that I’d be pain free.
