Dr. Varun Sambhariya
Dr. Sambhariya earned his bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences at the University of Southern California. He then completed his medical training at UT Southwestern and John Peter Smith Hospital in Dallas-Fort Worth, Texas. Following this, Dr. Sambhariya graduated from a surgical spine fellowship at the University of Washington / Harborview Medical Center and trained in the latest techniques in spine surgery.
Dr. Sambhariya has special interest in degenerative spine disease, complex spine deformity, motion-preserving spine surgery and minimally invasive techniques. He treats a variety of spine pathology from the skull to the sacrum. From nonoperative treatment to surgical solutions, he creates a patient specific approach using the techniques that best fit his patient’s spine conditions and needs. Dr. Sambhariya's aim is to help patients return to a healthy and active way of life.
In his leisure time, he enjoys traveling, camping, and spending time with my family and friends.

I went to Dr S with horrible sciatica pain in legs and entire left side of body. Dr S was very kind, compassionate, and patient… Dr. S explained my options and not the first to suggest surgery, which would be life-threatening for me… I felt that he truly cared, and would definitely suggest him to any other patient.

I cannot recommend this Dr more highly. I went to OIP first (in Harrisburg) and was treated so poorly. Someone told me to call OSS and ended up being scheduled with Dr Sambhariya. He is an incredible physician - speaks to you like you're educated and spends as much time as you need during your appointment. He narrowed down my problem immediately - send me for a much needed MRI and I am now pain free. I have given his name to so many people who need an outstanding, considerate, professional physician who obviously knows his area of expertise. I am proof of that and would never go to anyone else.
