Meet Dr. Corey Caruthers

I completed my undergraduate degree at Franklin and Marshall College in Lancaster, PA. I received my medical degree from Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, and completed an orthopaedic surgery residency at Memorial Hospital in York, PA. As part of my residency, I treated patients at OSS Hospital, Sinai Hospital of Baltimore, Altoona Regional Hospital and Shriner’s Hospital for Children in Philadelphia Additionally, I completed a post-residency fellowship in adult reconstructive surgery (joint replacement) of the hip and knee at the CORE Institute in Phoenix, AZ.

My primary interests include robotic assisted knee and hip replacement, but I also treat many general orthopaedic conditions, including fractures and sports injuries. I believe that minimally invasive surgical approaches and advanced technology can help patients have better outcomes and a faster recovery. I am trained in robotic assisted knee replacement, and I utilize a minimally invasive anterior approach to total hip replacement.

In my leisure time, I enjoy golf, basketball, hiking, and spending time with my wife and dog.
