Dr. Corey Caruthers
Corey Caruthers, DO is an orthopaedic surgeon with specialized training in joint replacement surgery and arthroscopic surgery of the hip, knee, and shoulder. Dr. Caruthers uses a minimally invasive surgical approach and the most advanced technology when doing surgeries so that his patients have an excellent outcome and a faster recovery. He is one of few surgeons in central PA trained in robotic-assisted knee replacement and he uses the anterior approach to total hip replacement when appropriate. Dr. Caruthers also treats many general orthopaedic conditions including fractures and sports injuries.

Dr. Caruthers was highly recommended by my brother who had a total knee. My own doctor is leaving the state so I had my initial consult with Dr. Caruthers and thought he was great. He Seemed so knowledgeable and confident. He was very kind and explained things in layman’s terms. He even gave me an injection in my knee same-day! I was so impressed with him and so encouraged that I know I’ll be in good hands for future procedures…just as my brother said. BTW, staff in the office at Mechanicsburg were also very kind, timely, and thoughtful in caring for me. I was pleasantly surprised at how well this office visit went and how smoothly the office was run. Those high bars are set at the top and everyone seemed to genuinely enjoy their jobs. It was quite refreshing.
