Dr. Corey Caruthers
Corey Caruthers, DO is an orthopaedic surgeon with specialized training in joint replacement surgery and arthroscopic surgery of the hip, knee, and shoulder. Dr. Caruthers uses a minimally invasive surgical approach and the most advanced technology when doing surgeries so that his patients have an excellent outcome and a faster recovery. He is one of few surgeons in central PA trained in robotic-assisted knee replacement and he uses the anterior approach to total hip replacement when appropriate. Dr. Caruthers also treats many general orthopaedic conditions including fractures and sports injuries.

Dr. Caruthers is an excellent surgeon. I'd give him 10 stars if I could. I had the robotic total knee replacement done on April 22, 2022. He explained everything to me. He took his time with me and always answered all my questions. He's patient, pleasant and always has a smile which made me want to smile. This surgery was almost pain free and my mobility and healing is progressing faster than my other knee replacement that I had done at another practice 6 years ago. In addition to a caring surgeon, the staff at the office in addition to the nurses and therapists at the rehab hospital were all the best I have ever had. All these things played a huge part in my overall experience and recovery.
