Dr. Corey Caruthers
Corey Caruthers, DO is an orthopaedic surgeon with specialized training in joint replacement surgery and arthroscopic surgery of the hip, knee, and shoulder. Dr. Caruthers uses a minimally invasive surgical approach and the most advanced technology when doing surgeries so that his patients have an excellent outcome and a faster recovery. He is one of few surgeons in central PA trained in robotic-assisted knee replacement and he uses the anterior approach to total hip replacement when appropriate. Dr. Caruthers also treats many general orthopaedic conditions including fractures and sports injuries.

I had two total knee replacements in 2023. Had a good experience with Dr. Caruthers. Before surgery he listened when I told him about having problems with medicine and thin blood. He asked questions and was interested in what I was telling him. I had a great experience with surgery with only minimal pain and discomfort. I did not have any strong drugs to take for pain after surgery when I came home and did well with Prescription Acetaminophen. I did my exercises every day and was walking without a cane after one month. I am still doing my daily exercises to make my knees stronger. I would definitely recommend Dr. Caruthers for knee replacement.
