Dr. Corey Caruthers
Corey Caruthers, DO is an orthopaedic surgeon with specialized training in joint replacement surgery and arthroscopic surgery of the hip, knee, and shoulder. Dr. Caruthers uses a minimally invasive surgical approach and the most advanced technology when doing surgeries so that his patients have an excellent outcome and a faster recovery. He is one of few surgeons in central PA trained in robotic-assisted knee replacement and he uses the anterior approach to total hip replacement when appropriate. Dr. Caruthers also treats many general orthopaedic conditions including fractures and sports injuries.

From my first visit to determine my need for a hip replacement, to the surgery, and the follow-up visits, Dr. Caruthers was the best. He was very professional and knowledgeable, while being very easy to talk to and understand. The hip replacement I received has been so successful that it feels like I never had anything wrong with me. I highly recommend Dr Caruthers and OSS.

Dr Corey is FANTASTIC. I had a total hip replacement. From the first visit I had with him I was so thankful that God led me to him. I had no idea what I was going to have to go through. He was so patient and so caring and kind with me. He explains everything that you need to know. In a way you can understand. His visit to me right before the surgery was very reassuring and the next morning afterwards when he came to check on me, he was so caring. He goes the extra mile and sends a little bouquet of flowers to each of his patients. No other doctors that I know do that. All my follow up visits were a very pleasant experience with him, and my hip is healing fabulously I super Duper highly recommend him he has worked very hard to get to where he is and what he does??
