Dr. Corey Caruthers
Corey Caruthers, DO is an orthopaedic surgeon with specialized training in joint replacement surgery and arthroscopic surgery of the hip, knee, and shoulder. Dr. Caruthers uses a minimally invasive surgical approach and the most advanced technology when doing surgeries so that his patients have an excellent outcome and a faster recovery. He is one of few surgeons in central PA trained in robotic-assisted knee replacement and he uses the anterior approach to total hip replacement when appropriate. Dr. Caruthers also treats many general orthopaedic conditions including fractures and sports injuries.

Dr. Caruthers came to my rescue twice within a month's time. On September 19th he replaced my arthritic knee with robotic-assistance, and two weeks later he was challenged with repairing my fractured tibia with a rod and three screws. (Just to muddy the waters a little more, Dr.Caruthers was dealing with a patient who had been diagnosed with Parkinson's since 2000!) My poor, unassuming leg was not accustomed to all this attention. Dr, Caruthers, with his calming, confident, experienced demeanor assured me and my leg, "Don't worry, we'll take good care of you." And that he did! I assumed that the day I fractured my tibia, Dr. Caruthers just happened to be on call. How lucky for me . . . but, he wasn't on call. He performed the surgery because I was his patient! Yes, truly, I am the lucky recipient of his expertise surgical skills and his dedication to his patients. I could not be happier with the results of these surgeries, and would highly recommend Dr. Caruthers.
