Dr. Corey Caruthers
Corey Caruthers, DO is an orthopaedic surgeon with specialized training in joint replacement surgery and arthroscopic surgery of the hip, knee, and shoulder. Dr. Caruthers uses a minimally invasive surgical approach and the most advanced technology when doing surgeries so that his patients have an excellent outcome and a faster recovery. He is one of few surgeons in central PA trained in robotic-assisted knee replacement and he uses the anterior approach to total hip replacement when appropriate. Dr. Caruthers also treats many general orthopaedic conditions including fractures and sports injuries.

Was seen by Dr. Caruthers for pain and swelling in my left knee. After X-rays and MRI confirmed the problem Dr. Caruthers was thorough in explaining the options to manage the issue and giving me the freedom, without being pushy, to decide how I want to proceed, and inviting me to call at anytime with flare ups that would need intervention. He was patient and non-rushed to answer questions I had.

Dr.Caruthers has replaced both of my hips and one knee within the last 9 months. He is a very skilled surgeon and his entire staff is amazing. I went from not being able to walk more than a few steps and needed help with that back to being able to walk miles each day. I would recommend Dr Caruthers above anyone !
