Dr. Corey Caruthers
Corey Caruthers, DO is an orthopaedic surgeon with specialized training in joint replacement surgery and arthroscopic surgery of the hip, knee, and shoulder. Dr. Caruthers uses a minimally invasive surgical approach and the most advanced technology when doing surgeries so that his patients have an excellent outcome and a faster recovery. He is one of few surgeons in central PA trained in robotic-assisted knee replacement and he uses the anterior approach to total hip replacement when appropriate. Dr. Caruthers also treats many general orthopaedic conditions including fractures and sports injuries.

I had hip replacement surgery on July 29th, at the OSS hospital in York Pa. Everything went well and I was up walking about two hours later, and able to go home the next day. Dr. Caruthers is an amazing doctor. Not only is he a great surgeon but he is also a very nice and compassionate man. He listened to my concerns and answered my questions. I am a 74 year old active woman, who now, in only 6 weeks, has her life back to almost 100 percent. I highly recommend him.

I’m almost 2 weeks out from my total knee replacement and am very happy with how well I’m doing. Dr. Caruthers has a great bedside manner, takes time to explain things and answer questions, and did an excellent job with my surgery using the Mako robotic assisted device. My bandages were changed today and my incisions are all healing nicely with no redness whatsoever. I also have to mention that the OSS surgical center and its staff of nurses and aides do a fabulous job. I would highly recommend Dr. Caruthers.
