Dr. Corey Caruthers
Corey Caruthers, DO is an orthopaedic surgeon with specialized training in joint replacement surgery and arthroscopic surgery of the hip, knee, and shoulder. Dr. Caruthers uses a minimally invasive surgical approach and the most advanced technology when doing surgeries so that his patients have an excellent outcome and a faster recovery. He is one of few surgeons in central PA trained in robotic-assisted knee replacement and he uses the anterior approach to total hip replacement when appropriate. Dr. Caruthers also treats many general orthopaedic conditions including fractures and sports injuries.

Saw Dr Caruthers for my knees. My knees hurt me a lot. Dr. Caruthers had x-rays taken of both my knees, he explained my options. I went through shots in both knees, didn't really help. Then I did the series of 3 shots & these didn't help either. I did this over 4 to 5 months period. He then thoroughly explained a total knee replacement. He showed me a product of a knee replacement. And explained how this surgery would go. Dr Caruthers uses a laser assisted robot for the best accuracy. Dr. Caruthers is very professional, informative and has a nice caring personally. He'll answer all your questions and his team is very helpful. I had my right knee replacement March 2022. My OSS hospital stay was very good - 2 nights. I'll be honest it is NO picnic you will have pain you have to work through it. OSS PT were great. I had 6 weeks PT. I go to a gym now to continue my exercises. Listen to Dr Caruthers, do the exercises B4 the surgery. They give you a booklet. I will have my left knee done.

Dr. Carruthers is one on the most compassionate doctors I have had. He is cordial and explains what he is doing while giving me injections. I would absolutely recommend him to my family and friends!
