Dr. Corey Caruthers
Corey Caruthers, DO is an orthopaedic surgeon with specialized training in joint replacement surgery and arthroscopic surgery of the hip, knee, and shoulder. Dr. Caruthers uses a minimally invasive surgical approach and the most advanced technology when doing surgeries so that his patients have an excellent outcome and a faster recovery. He is one of few surgeons in central PA trained in robotic-assisted knee replacement and he uses the anterior approach to total hip replacement when appropriate. Dr. Caruthers also treats many general orthopaedic conditions including fractures and sports injuries.

Dr Caruthers did an excellent job on my recent hip replacement. Healing and rehab went very well and my hip feels great. I am back to coaching wrestling with full confidence in my new hip. He is very professional, yet very easy to talk with and understand when it comes to details relative to the entire surgical experience.

My husband and I went to Dr Caruthers for a second opinion on my knee. He is as wonderful and told us he was going to try a partial and if he couldn’t he would do a full. I did get a partial and Dr Caruthers and his team were great. The hospital was wonderful.
