Dr. Corey Caruthers
Corey Caruthers, DO is an orthopaedic surgeon with specialized training in joint replacement surgery and arthroscopic surgery of the hip, knee, and shoulder. Dr. Caruthers uses a minimally invasive surgical approach and the most advanced technology when doing surgeries so that his patients have an excellent outcome and a faster recovery. He is one of few surgeons in central PA trained in robotic-assisted knee replacement and he uses the anterior approach to total hip replacement when appropriate. Dr. Caruthers also treats many general orthopaedic conditions including fractures and sports injuries.

Dr. Caruthers did a fantastic job from start to finish on my hip replacement surgery earlier this year. I had a no-issue speedy recovery, and I am completely pain free for the first time in many years. I strongly recommend him to anyone needed similar types of surgery. The OSS hospital facility in York was also better than I might have expected, and the combination of the OSS Hospital and Dr. Caruthers is a perfect fit. Thank you Dr. Caruthers!

I had partial knee replacement surgery on 7/17/20. It has been one year and I am doing great!! I'm so thankful I found Dr. Caruthers. He was recommended to me as I was looking for a second opinion. I can’t say enough good things about him. Not only is he an excellent doctor & surgeon. But, he has a great personality. Kind, patient, extremely smart & knowledgeable. Always has a smile on his face. My surgery went great with an excellent speedy recovery. Pain was minimal and manageable. Plus, the staff at OSSH and the Orthopedic Hospital were wonderful. Due to the Covid virus I had to do this alone and I was very well treated and cared for.
