Dr. James Gilhool
James Gilhool, D.O. is board-certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, Pain Medicine and Sports Medicine. Dr. Gilhool diagnoses and provides non-surgical treatment for disorders of the spine. Through exercise and injections, Dr. Gilhool’s goal is to help restore function so patients can do daily activities and improve their independence.
Dr. Gilhool is also a Certified ImPACT Consultant (CIC) treating concussions. In his leisure time, he enjoys spending time with his family, outdoor activities and coaching lacrosse.

I went to Dr. Gilhool when I was having severe pain in my leg. He diagnosed and prescribed meds. Within a few days I was back in shape, with no pain.

Dr. Gilhool is a very personable caring person. He thoroughly explains everything about the medical condition. He made numerous recommendations and provided additional information to relieve the pain. This is an ongoing issue at this point. Hopefully, we will find a solution in the future. I don't expect a magical cure and I do exercise on a regular basis. I firmly believe that all patients have a role in their personal health care.
