Dr. James Gilhool
James Gilhool, D.O. is board-certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, Pain Medicine and Sports Medicine. Dr. Gilhool diagnoses and provides non-surgical treatment for disorders of the spine. Through exercise and injections, Dr. Gilhool’s goal is to help restore function so patients can do daily activities and improve their independence.
Dr. Gilhool is also a Certified ImPACT Consultant (CIC) treating concussions. In his leisure time, he enjoys spending time with his family, outdoor activities and coaching lacrosse.

Dr. Gilhool sent me for a steroid shot in my left glut with Dr. Lin. He also showed me a place on my middle back that represents rheumatoid arthritis. He sent me for blood work and said a possible visit to a Rheumatoid doctor. I have not seen any results on the OSS or UPMC portals of the test results. I am wondering what happened. Thank you.
