Dr. James Gilhool
James Gilhool, D.O. is board-certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, Pain Medicine and Sports Medicine. Dr. Gilhool diagnoses and provides non-surgical treatment for disorders of the spine. Through exercise and injections, Dr. Gilhool’s goal is to help restore function so patients can do daily activities and improve their independence.
Dr. Gilhool is also a Certified ImPACT Consultant (CIC) treating concussions. In his leisure time, he enjoys spending time with his family, outdoor activities and coaching lacrosse.

Dr.Gilhool has a way of making you feel comfortable being around him. He’s kind, compassionate and a wonderful listener. He doesn’t make you feel like you’re just another patient on his list. He greets you by your name and always asks you how you’re feeling today. He also has a great sense of humor that eases your anxiety. I have been seeing Dr. Gilhool for a few years now for my chronic back pain and honestly I wouldn’t trade him in for anyone else. He’s a doctor with a great personality and a good heart.
