Dr. James Gilhool
James Gilhool, D.O. is board-certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, Pain Medicine and Sports Medicine. Dr. Gilhool diagnoses and provides non-surgical treatment for disorders of the spine. Through exercise and injections, Dr. Gilhool’s goal is to help restore function so patients can do daily activities and improve their independence.
Dr. Gilhool is also a Certified ImPACT Consultant (CIC) treating concussions. In his leisure time, he enjoys spending time with his family, outdoor activities and coaching lacrosse.

I first started treating with Dr Gilhool prior to 2010. Most recently had a couple of appointments for lower back pain. Dr. Gilhool is extremely knowledgeable in his knowledge of the spine and pain problems. He has a pleasant manner and can relate and empathize with any patient.

Dr. GILHOOL, gave me my life back, he sat down with me and went over my xray and showed that the problems I was having was from my back instead of my knee. I almost got unnecessary surgery. His demeanor was one from old school, he explained step by step what my options were. It's been about a month since my procedure and I am almost back to 100%. The OSS team are awsome and I would recommend that if you have any back issues to go see them.
