Dr. James Gilhool
James Gilhool, D.O. is board-certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, Pain Medicine and Sports Medicine. Dr. Gilhool diagnoses and provides non-surgical treatment for disorders of the spine. Through exercise and injections, Dr. Gilhool’s goal is to help restore function so patients can do daily activities and improve their independence.
Dr. Gilhool is also a Certified ImPACT Consultant (CIC) treating concussions. In his leisure time, he enjoys spending time with his family, outdoor activities and coaching lacrosse.

Dr. Gilhool took the time to explain everything in detail, suggested alternative treatment options, and the best course of action moving forward for the best results. At no time did I feel rushed or perplexed by what was being discussed. Likewise, everything was discussed between Dr. Gilhool and myself; I wasn't just told what to do as I have experienced with other health professionals. My MRI was reviewed and explained in detail with me and any questions I had were answered completely and professionally.
