Dr. James Gilhool
James Gilhool, D.O. is board-certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, Pain Medicine and Sports Medicine. Dr. Gilhool diagnoses and provides non-surgical treatment for disorders of the spine. Through exercise and injections, Dr. Gilhool’s goal is to help restore function so patients can do daily activities and improve their independence.
Dr. Gilhool is also a Certified ImPACT Consultant (CIC) treating concussions. In his leisure time, he enjoys spending time with his family, outdoor activities and coaching lacrosse.

Dr Gilhool was great. He put me at ease about the shots he was going to put in my back. He explained every step of the process and made me feel totally comfortable with what he was doing. He is very personable and attentive, making sure I knew what he was doing what I would feel. This is my second time being his patient and I would be his patient again.
