Dr. James Gilhool
James Gilhool, D.O. is board-certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, Pain Medicine and Sports Medicine. Dr. Gilhool diagnoses and provides non-surgical treatment for disorders of the spine. Through exercise and injections, Dr. Gilhool’s goal is to help restore function so patients can do daily activities and improve their independence.
Dr. Gilhool is also a Certified ImPACT Consultant (CIC) treating concussions. In his leisure time, he enjoys spending time with his family, outdoor activities and coaching lacrosse.

I had my second appointment/visit with Dr. Gilhool. First time was for an epidural in my neck. Second time was for an epidural in my spine for sciatica. Both times he was very professional but, at the same time very caring and willing to hold a conversation to ease my nervousness. He understands that talking keeps your mind occupied during the procedure. I really liked the fact that he himself walked me back to the dressing area. Thank you Dr. Gilhool.
