Dr. James Gilhool
James Gilhool, D.O. is board-certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, Pain Medicine and Sports Medicine. Dr. Gilhool diagnoses and provides non-surgical treatment for disorders of the spine. Through exercise and injections, Dr. Gilhool’s goal is to help restore function so patients can do daily activities and improve their independence.
Dr. Gilhool is also a Certified ImPACT Consultant (CIC) treating concussions. In his leisure time, he enjoys spending time with his family, outdoor activities and coaching lacrosse.

Dr. Gilhool is a fantastic Dr. I had another Dr in the room when he walked in. I was going to be walking out with a prescription for prednisone and back to work. When Dr Gilhool walked in we're back tracked and he made me feel like he genuinely cared about my pain and ongoing issues. He scheduled an MRI and a follow up. He cared about my passion for exercising and lifting and explained that. Easily the BEST most empathetic DR I have seen there and I have met plenty. THANK YOU!
