Dr. Thomas Ortenzio
Thomas Ortenzio, DPM, is a podiatrist, or Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM), specializing in the diagnosis and treatment of foot and ankle conditions. Dr. Ortenzio is a native of York County. He has been practicing podiatry since 1985 when he joined his father’s podiatry practice, providing his patients with both conservative and surgical treatment options for foot and ankle problems.
Dr. Ortenzio is a past president of the Pennsylvania Podiatric Medical Association and remains very active in his profession as chairman of the William Goldfarb Foundation for education and research of the lower extremities. This organization sponsors research in foot and ankle medicine and provides continuing medical education for podiatrists in the mid-Atlantic states.

Dr. Ortenzio diagnosed my pain in my foot with a x-ray and explained what was the problem and how to treat it during our first visit. On the follow up appointment, he continued to inform me of additional exercises and reminded me of something that he suggested that I should do for relief that I had neglected to do. This treatment would have relieved my pain faster and more efficiently. In my experience, Dr. Ortenzio was professional and knowledgeable. He also was familiar with my information even after one visit. I was grateful that he informed me of treatment that I had neglected that ultimately decreased my pain significantly after our follow up. I would recommend Dr. Ortenzio in the future.
