Dr. Varun Sambhariya
Dr. Sambhariya earned his bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences at the University of Southern California. He then completed his medical training at UT Southwestern and John Peter Smith Hospital in Dallas-Fort Worth, Texas. Following this, Dr. Sambhariya graduated from a surgical spine fellowship at the University of Washington / Harborview Medical Center and trained in the latest techniques in spine surgery.
Dr. Sambhariya has special interest in degenerative spine disease, complex spine deformity, motion-preserving spine surgery and minimally invasive techniques. He treats a variety of spine pathology from the skull to the sacrum. From nonoperative treatment to surgical solutions, he creates a patient specific approach using the techniques that best fit his patient’s spine conditions and needs. Dr. Sambhariya's aim is to help patients return to a healthy and active way of life.
In his leisure time, he enjoys traveling, camping, and spending time with my family and friends.

I was suffering from L5-S1 disc herniation, that caused serve sciatica pain down my leg, making it extremely painful to walk. My quality of life was horrible. I met with Dr. S he ordered an MRi, went over results. He offered less surgical options first, steriod injection, that did not work for me. At my follow up Dr. S went over surgery detail's including benefits and risks. I never felt rushed when asking questions. I am almost 3 weeks post op and getting better every day. No leg pain at all. Now just the recovery period of 12 weeks! Taking it slow not avoid reherniaton.

Dr. Sambhariya was excellent. He listened patiently to me, made recommendations and took further X-rays where he found the problem. I would highly recommend him.
