Dr. Varun Sambhariya
Dr. Sambhariya earned his bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences at the University of Southern California. He then completed his medical training at UT Southwestern and John Peter Smith Hospital in Dallas-Fort Worth, Texas. Following this, Dr. Sambhariya graduated from a surgical spine fellowship at the University of Washington / Harborview Medical Center and trained in the latest techniques in spine surgery.
Dr. Sambhariya has special interest in degenerative spine disease, complex spine deformity, motion-preserving spine surgery and minimally invasive techniques. He treats a variety of spine pathology from the skull to the sacrum. From nonoperative treatment to surgical solutions, he creates a patient specific approach using the techniques that best fit his patient’s spine conditions and needs. Dr. Sambhariya's aim is to help patients return to a healthy and active way of life.
In his leisure time, he enjoys traveling, camping, and spending time with my family and friends.

I have a shoulder issue so not sure why OSS gave me an appointment with the spine specialist Dr Sambhariya. He gave me his perspective on what might be going on with my shoulder but said I need to see Dr Hines the shoulder specialist. I appreciate him yielding to the shoulder specialist. Not sure why OSS did not set me up with shoulder specialist from the start. Dr Sambhariya was pleasant to talk to.
