I was a firefighter recruit still in recruit class when I fell off of a ladder and broke my elbow. The fall shattered my radial head and the ulna came out through my forearm along with extensive ligament damage on the inside and outside of the elbow. Dr. Andrew’s and his team did a great job with the radial head replacement ulna repair and ligament repair. I am now 4 months post op and I have almost completely recovered. With months of pain and strength training it sounds like I will be able to return to the academy and still live out my dream of being a firefighter EMT. Because of the good work Dr. Andrew’s and his team have done, I will be able to return to work and help people on their worst days.
