Dr. Alexander Kish
Dr. Alexander Kish is board certified in Orthopaedic Surgery and also holds an additional subspecialty certificate in Surgery of the Hand. He received his undergraduate degree in Biology from King’s College in Wilkes-Barre, PA, and his medical degree from Penn State College of Medicine where he was a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society.
Dr. Kish completed a residency in Orthopaedic Surgery at the University of Maryland Medical Center and R Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore, MD. After residency he completed a fellowship in Hand/Microvascular/Upper Extremity Surgery at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. This extra year of training afforded him the opportunity to hone his skills in the surgical and non-surgical treatment options for various conditions of the arm and hand. Dr. Kish especially enjoys challenging upper extremity pathology and has great interest in management of complex fractures, nerve and tendon injuries, as well as the treatment of arthritis in the shoulder, elbow, wrist, and fingers.
In his leisure time, he enjoys mountain biking, running, fly fishing, and spending time with his wonderful family.

Dr Kish removed a plate from arm that had been in place for 30 years. The plate had begun to cause some trouble with motion and such. He removed the plate. He then took his time and made the extra step of shaving extra bone and cleaning up the area to gain me as much movement and little pain as possible. I’m about 4 weeks out from surgery and already have noticed more movement and nearly zero pain.I’ve been very pleased with Dr Kish and the OSS group. I never sat in the waiting room for more than a few minutes at an appointment and the staff was very nice. A very efficient and professional healthcare provider. Highly recommend!

Dr Kish was friendly and very personable. He explained on detail what my options were and never pressured me to make a decision. I decided on the minor surgery and couldn't be more happier with the outcome
