Dr. Alexander Kish
Dr. Alexander Kish is board certified in Orthopaedic Surgery and also holds an additional subspecialty certificate in Surgery of the Hand. He received his undergraduate degree in Biology from King’s College in Wilkes-Barre, PA, and his medical degree from Penn State College of Medicine where he was a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society.
Dr. Kish completed a residency in Orthopaedic Surgery at the University of Maryland Medical Center and R Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore, MD. After residency he completed a fellowship in Hand/Microvascular/Upper Extremity Surgery at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. This extra year of training afforded him the opportunity to hone his skills in the surgical and non-surgical treatment options for various conditions of the arm and hand. Dr. Kish especially enjoys challenging upper extremity pathology and has great interest in management of complex fractures, nerve and tendon injuries, as well as the treatment of arthritis in the shoulder, elbow, wrist, and fingers.
In his leisure time, he enjoys mountain biking, running, fly fishing, and spending time with his wonderful family.

Fell on Sunday, no pain at first. By Monday early morning, pain was kicking in. My wife drove me to OSS Urgent Care in Hanover. The place seemed busy, but I was seen within 20 minutes, x-rayed and seen by Victoria Topper, PA, who put me at ease. He was cheerful and very calming, but explained clearly what my near future would be like. He definitely eliminated my fears. He recommended a hard brace rather than a plaster cast, and when he was done with the do’s and don’ts list, I was fitted for the hard brace, and was on my way.OSS has been the go to place for our family since 2009 for anything orthopedic, and will continue to be.
