Dr. Brent Hines
Brent S. Hines, DO is a board-certified orthopaedic surgeon. Dr. Hines provides care for all general orthopaedic problems with a focus in shoulder surgery. He has expertise in knee and shoulder replacements as well as arthroscopic surgery in the knee and shoulder.
Dr. Hines completed his residency in orthopaedic surgery at Memorial Hospital right here in York. After his residency, he completed specialized fellowship training in shoulder surgery at Saint Francis Orthopaedic Institute in Columbus, Georgia. He helps his patients get back to the activities they enjoy.

Dr. Hines performed my shoulder surgery in spring 2020. He takes the time to explain the procedures and lays out your options for you. I've also felt that my opinion on my treatment matters to him. I'd recommend him and OSS Health for anyone looking for an orthopedic surgeon.

I tore my rotator cuff and had surgery with Dr Hines on November 8th 2019.I saw Dr Hines and his P.A. which I forget his name but he is awesome, and they cleared me to continue my recovery on my own!! It is 3/2/2020.In under 4 months I was able to go from doing nothing to doing semi normal excersices and semi normal daily activities. My motion is not fully recovered yet and nor is my strength,but I know with my continued rehabilitation I will get back to a full use of my left arm.Ultimately Dr. Hines is the man! He was so thorough and honest with me about everything. If you are having any troubles with any orthopedic needs DO NOT HESITATE to see Dr Hines.Also a shout out to the staff at OSS. They are all very friendly and give excellent communication which is greatly appreciated 👍🙏
