Dr. Brent Hines
Brent S. Hines, DO is a board-certified orthopaedic surgeon. Dr. Hines provides care for all general orthopaedic problems with a focus in shoulder surgery. He has expertise in knee and shoulder replacements as well as arthroscopic surgery in the knee and shoulder.
Dr. Hines completed his residency in orthopaedic surgery at Memorial Hospital right here in York. After his residency, he completed specialized fellowship training in shoulder surgery at Saint Francis Orthopaedic Institute in Columbus, Georgia. He helps his patients get back to the activities they enjoy.

I am had surgery a week ago and wanted to share some thoughts. First of all Dr. Hines is an awesome surgeon and a very approachable and caring person as well as the other providers on the team. They made me feel like a person and not just another case. From the time I walked in here until now, this has been one of the best surgical and inpatient experiences I have ever had. The facility is spotless in all areas. The registration process is simple and not time consuming. The education they provide is excellent so there are no surprises. The bed is actually comfortable, the rooms are clean and nicely stocked. The food was great and you can order for most of the hours in a day. The food delivery was prompt and food still hot. I can’t say enough good things about all of the nurses and techs who provided care and I hope this review is passed on to them. I would definitely come back again and recommend this hospital for anyone who needs orthopedic surgery.

Staff is very accommodating and thorough. X-Rays revealed the problem and Dr explanation was thorough and easily understood. Plans for treatment explained and agreed to.

I've been trying for years to find a Dr who could determine what was wrong with my knee versus simply chalking it up to my age, giving me shots or referring me for more rehab. Dr Hines listened to me, understood what my physical activity goals were and worked to find the cause of my knee issues.
