Dr. Corey Caruthers
Corey Caruthers, DO is an orthopaedic surgeon with specialized training in joint replacement surgery and arthroscopic surgery of the hip, knee, and shoulder. Dr. Caruthers uses a minimally invasive surgical approach and the most advanced technology when doing surgeries so that his patients have an excellent outcome and a faster recovery. He is one of few surgeons in central PA trained in robotic-assisted knee replacement and he uses the anterior approach to total hip replacement when appropriate. Dr. Caruthers also treats many general orthopaedic conditions including fractures and sports injuries.

I had a full hip replacement one year ago. I was back on my bicycle within four months of surgery. Dr. Caruthers has been informative and supportive throughout my entire pre and post op experience. I would highly recommend Dr. Caruthers as my results are amazing! The OSS hospital was also a positive aspect of my surgery.

I had both knees replaced by Dr. Caruthers! I followed his recommendation to have the Mako robotic surgery and could not be happier with the results. At no time in my recovery did I have bad pain, maybe a 1 on a 1 to 10 scale! After PT, I got back to walking and in 12 weeks, I am walking an average of 4 miles a day! I could not be happier with with any aspect of the surgery or the recovery! One other point, unlike some surgeons I had, Dr. Caruthers is genuinely concerned about his patients!
