Dr. Corey Caruthers
Corey Caruthers, DO is an orthopaedic surgeon with specialized training in joint replacement surgery and arthroscopic surgery of the hip, knee, and shoulder. Dr. Caruthers uses a minimally invasive surgical approach and the most advanced technology when doing surgeries so that his patients have an excellent outcome and a faster recovery. He is one of few surgeons in central PA trained in robotic-assisted knee replacement and he uses the anterior approach to total hip replacement when appropriate. Dr. Caruthers also treats many general orthopaedic conditions including fractures and sports injuries.

I cannot say enough positive things about Dr. Caruthers. I suffered from right hip pain (arthritis) for years. I had to wait approximately 7 months from initial consult to my operation because of insurance reasons via my employer. By the time my surgery date came around, I was dealing with 10/10 pain on a constant basis. Daily living was brutal. I also became extremely depressed because of the amount of pain I was in. Dr. Caruthers gave me my life back. I would go as far to say he SAVED my life. Anyone who deals with constant pain knows exactly what I mean. He was confident, knowledgeable, professional, kind, and caring. I am not discharged from his care yet because of follow-up appointments, and I look forward to seeing him in another month so I can show him how well I am doing and to thank him once again. I would recommend Dr. Caruthers to anyone who is having any type of orthopedic issues. He is and always will be No. 1 in my book!

I had a total knee replacement and Dr. Caruthers was amazing. I don't have anymore pain. He has a nice bedside manner and listens to what you have to say.

I would definitely highly recommend Dr. Caruthers!! I would give him a 10 out of 10.I had a right hip replacement revision which the operation went great. He is very kind, personable, & a wonderful surgeon! He has a great bed side manner & takes time to listen to questions & concerns. My recovery is coming along very well & we're very happy with his service. I also want to mention that the OSS hospital & his staff are also an amazing !
