Dr. Corey Caruthers
Corey Caruthers, DO is an orthopaedic surgeon with specialized training in joint replacement surgery and arthroscopic surgery of the hip, knee, and shoulder. Dr. Caruthers uses a minimally invasive surgical approach and the most advanced technology when doing surgeries so that his patients have an excellent outcome and a faster recovery. He is one of few surgeons in central PA trained in robotic-assisted knee replacement and he uses the anterior approach to total hip replacement when appropriate. Dr. Caruthers also treats many general orthopaedic conditions including fractures and sports injuries.

I had to have a second revision done of my knee replacement. I really did not want to go through another surgery. But he was the one that figured out my problem and I went ahead with the surgery. He knows new procedures and I came through totally pleased with my results. My biggest thing was no staples which I think really made me feel better as far as pain.i know this can not be done on all his patients but was very glad he did that on me. So glad that he was recommended to me by my retiring doctor.

Dr. Caruthers was wonderful with my mother who was at a real low point with not knowing what was wrong with her leg and why she was in so much pain for more than 8 months. She saw several doctors prior to seeing Dr. Caruthers along with having physical therapy and several steroid injections which did not help. After having a CATSCAN, and seeing Dr. Caruthers, it was determined mother needed a partial hip replacement, being a high risk patient to begin with, Dr. Caruthers and his team took great care of her during and after her surgery. They collaborated to make sure we understood the risks. My family would like to thank you for your professionalism, your team and the kindness you showed my mother through this difficult time. She is on the road to a positive recovery.
