My primary suggested that I see an orthopedic surgeon and sent a referral to WellSpan Orthopedics. After not hearing from them for several days, I reached out to make an appointment, and their earliest appointment was several weeks away. I called back about a week later saying that fingers on both hands were locking and on one hand my fingers were now locking up for 10 hours at a time and asked if they could please find an earlier time for me? They could not. I had heard good things about Dr. Andrews at OSS so I decided to contact their office and they got me in right away. Dr Andrews was able to get my hand open and gave me Corticosteroid injections together with a numbing agent. He also had splints made that I wear while sleeping to keep my hands from locking up. He was a God-send. He is extremely competent, and I would highly recommend him.
