Learn About OSS Health’s
Female Athlete Program
Whether playing at a recreational, national, or professional level, women are redefining the boundaries of what female athletes can achieve through participation in sports and other athletics.
To ensure peak performance, the Female Athlete Program at OSS Health takes a comprehensive team approach to preventing, diagnosing, treating, and managing sports injuries, in addition to assessing exercise habits, hormonal balance, nutrition and psychological needs.
At the head of the OSS Health Female Athlete Program is Dr. Abbie Kelley. She completed a Primary Care Sports Medicine fellowship at York Hospital and is board-certified in both Family Medicine and Sports Medicine. Dr. Kelley has a special interest in treating athletic injuries in females of all ages and levels of play to optimize sports performance.
A team of subspecialists forms a network of providers to treat different aspects of the female athlete including:
- Orthopaedics and Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation
- Sports Psychology
- Physical and Occupational Therapy
- Sports Massage
- Running Medicine
- Strength and Conditioning
OSS Health’s Dr. Abbie Kelley and nutritionist Julie Stefanski present a webinar on optimizing performance in female athletes.
